Fabulous Christmas Lights Make Wine Country Sparkle for Kids

The holiday season brings a number of wonderfully lit houses to Wine Country.  Recently we visited this beautifully decorated house on Arabian Lane, in Santa Rosa, California.  The street is only a block long; tucked into a quiet subdivision.  The lights from the house shine brightly enough that we knew we’d found the right street before we even turned the corner. 

The entire front lawn is filled with various lights including many moving figures which kept our little one entranced.  There is a giant count down to Christmas clock on the front of the house.  The decorating didn’t stop at the front lawn, however.  The lights spill over to the other side of the driveway and even the front porch is covered in lights and other decorations.   

On the night we visited, the couple who owns the house was very generously greeting viewers of their Christmas light display with popcorn, hot chocolate and candy canes.  It was a lovely reminder of the spirit of the season.
