There are Top 10 Holiday Parks all over New Zealand, and we really weren’t sure what it was all about. Although most of their business comes from the many campervans roaming around both islands, most of the locations also offer motel-type rooms. The room at 10 Top Holiday Park Te Anau that we stayed in was in the upgraded Matai Lodge rooms at the back of the park, just across the road. The location was great, and the room was very, very clean. There wasn’t much in the way of a kitchen in the room itself, but  there are shared cooking facilities (with a different kitchen just for residents of for the lodge), and BBQs.

 

The room was very big, however, with lots of space for our daughter to run around in. The bathroom was great, with a big tub with jets. It was very quiet, and a 5 minute walk from the main strip.
