We started with their Sauvignon Blanc, $13.50NZD. Unfortunately, it
really wasn’t a good note to begin on, as we didn’t enjoy it. Things got much better when we tried their Millstone Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, however. From a single vineyard and organic, we enjoyed its fruitiness and citrusy finish. Next up was the Moorlands Sauvignon Blanc. It lacked the fruitiness we were hoping for, and didn’t offer a clean finish, either. We enjoyed the Moorlands Riesling with it’s mineral taste, although we also didn’t find it very fruity. The Wallops Chardonnay didn’t impress us, and the Hounds Pinot Noir didn’t either. We finished on a sweet note, both literally and figuratively, with the Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc. It was a lovely dessert wine, both syrupy and very sweet.
