A 5 minute walk from Wat Pho got us to a boat which took us across the river to Wat Arun. The river isn’t that picturesque, but taking the boat is fast and cheap (I think it was a dime). It’s only a couple hundred feet, and there are two boats which just zip back and forth all day long. Anyways, this wat is built in the Ayutthaya style and is different from every other wat we saw. There are some nice views
from the top. The style of some of the decorations on the temple reminded us a lot of the Gaudi style we saw in Barcelona.
