The Munhwa Motel was right in the thick of downtown, just a 5 minute walk from the bus and train stations and close to the market and pedestrian areas. The owner again didn’t speak a word of English, and we couldn’t reserve in advance, but it wasn’t a problem to show up without a reservation.
The first room we were shown was beautiful and had some very cool mood lighting, but we changed to a room which had a PC so we could use the internet, but the room was not quite as pretty.
In addition, the PC mostly didn’t work, but the room happened to be closer to an open wifi point, so we were able to log in with our PDA.
We had some problems contacting the owner of the hotel – we had to leave the key with him when we went out, and he wasn’t always there, but someone from the coffee shop was able to chase him down.
