Some of the people we met had made hotel reservations 6 months in advance so they could see the opening cermonies of the festival. And then there was us, who just showed up, not believing the taxi-driver's "Oh but it's a festival day", thinking he was just trying to get us to sleep at his cousin's hotel instead.
