We overnight'ed in Ko Samet, theoretically just a couple of hours away from Bangkok, but with ferries that only leave when full, it ended up taking us more than half the day. We stayed on the west side of the island, in Ao Prao. The beach was underwhelming, and the water was unswimmable due to jellyfish. Well there must be something else to do, right?
