We thought we were headed for Flam, and the train back to Oslo. But it turned out we would have needed to be really good swimmers. There is no ferry at that time on Sunday. So we wound up stuck in Balestrand overnight. Not a bad place to get stranded... We really liked this 19th century British church out the front of our hotel.
