Dominica really surprised us. Although it’s lack of white sand beaches mean it’s not on the traditional tourist route, the stunning natural scenery of the island and wealth of sights to explore make it one of our favourite Caribbean destinations. We didn’t enjoy Roseau itself, but once we got away from the capital, we had a fabulous time. The driving can be very challenging – some of the most challenging we’ve seen in the Caribbean, so be prepared!
