About Us

Originally Canadian, we now call Northern California our home. We started traveling together in 1995. 67 countries and two kids later, we continue to explore our world.  Check out our travel tips for tips on how we’ve seen the world with young children – and how we pack!

How do we afford it?  Most of our recent travels have been funded using airline miles and points programs – in fact, we can’t actually remember the last time we paid for airfare (besides taxes!).  We carefully follow blogs like Mommy Points (as well as many of the other boardingarea bloggers) to get tips and advice on the latest way to rack up free miles and points.    We’re not in the league some bloggers are, with their first class tickets on every flight, but we’re happy simply to have 4 international return coach tickets (twice a year) paid for with our side-“hobby”.
